Caller-supplied preference for which local model profile a single call should use.

Variants

Auto

No pin — rank by free VRAM (existing behavior).

Pinned(String)

Pin to a specific profile id. The resolver still checks VRAM fit and reports PinnedUnselectable if the profile would not fit the probe.

ForceHash

Force the deterministic CPU/hash fallback even if a GPU profile would fit. Use during low-stakes phases of a long agent-doc run.
