What a sample decided for a block (decide_on_sample).

Fields

filter: u8

Filter byte (id and parameter) to apply to the whole block.

codec: u8

Codec to run on the whole block.

also: Option<u8>

A second codec to run on the whole block with the same filter, keeping the smaller output (effort 4: xz whenever PPMd won the sample, the one structural miss of a sample).

incompressible: bool

zstd could not shrink the unfiltered sample by 3 % (the shortcut of the full trial, taken on the sample: xz and PPMd were not tried for that variant).
