Configuration for the database audit backend.

Fields

backend: DbBackend

Backend type: “sqlite” or “postgres”

connection: String

Connection string.

• SQLite: file path (e.g. “~/.local/share/audex/audit.db”) or “:memory:”
• Postgres: connection URI (e.g. “postgres://user:pass@localhost/audex”)

max_connections: u32

Maximum number of connections in the pool (postgres only, default: 5)

wal_mode: bool

Enable WAL mode for SQLite (default: true)

retention_days: u32

Retention period in days (0 = keep forever, default: 0)
