Boolean

Struct Boolean

Source
pub struct Boolean;
Expand description

Value schema that stores boolean flags as either all-zero or all-one bit patterns.

Storing false as 0x00 and true as 0xFF in every byte makes it trivial to distinguish the two cases while leaving room for future SIMD optimisations when scanning large collections of flags.

Trait Implementations§

impl ConstMetadata for Boolean

Source§

fn id() -> Id

Returns the root identifier for this metadata description.

where B: BlobStore<Blake3>,

Source§

impl<'a> FromValue<'a, Boolean> for bool

Source§

fn from_value(v: &'a Value<Boolean>) -> Self

Convert the Value with a specific schema type to the Rust type. This might cause a panic if the conversion is not possible. Read more
Source§

impl ToValue<Boolean> for &bool

Source§

fn to_value(self) -> Value<Boolean>

Convert the Rust type to a Value with a specific schema type. This might cause a panic if the conversion is not possible. Read more

Source§

type Error = InvalidBoolean

Source§

fn try_from_value(v: &'a Value<Boolean>) -> Result<Self, Self::Error>

Convert the Value with a specific schema type to the Rust type. This might return an error if the conversion is not possible. Read more

Source§

type Error = Infallible

Source§

fn try_to_value(self) -> Result<Value<Boolean>, Self::Error>

Convert the Rust type to a Value with a specific schema type. This might return an error if the conversion is not possible. Read more

impl ValueSchema for Boolean

Source§

type ValidationError = InvalidBoolean

Source§

fn validate(value: Value<Self>) -> Result<Value<Self>, Self::ValidationError>

Check if the given value conforms to this schema.
Source§

fn value_from<T: ToValue<Self>>(t: T) -> Value<Self>

Create a new value from a concrete Rust type. This is a convenience method that calls the ToValue trait. This method might panic if the conversion is not possible. Read more
Source§

fn value_try_from<T: TryToValue<Self>>( t: T, ) -> Result<Value<Self>, <T as TryToValue<Self>>::Error>

Create a new value from a concrete Rust type. This is a convenience method that calls the TryToValue trait. This method might return an error if the conversion is not possible. Read more
