Fields

http_client: Option<Client>

The LLM HTTP client (Go’s Transport). Mutually exclusive with in_process.

in_process: Option<GenerateFn>

A model running IN THIS PROCESS, wrapped by the SAME global turn gate. Mutually exclusive with http_client and llm.

registry: HashMap<String, Def>

Agent name → Def. Prefer super::Agent::registry.

inbox_cap: usize

Every inbox’s bound (default 8); a post at cap rejects loudly.

max_concurrent_turns: usize

Global turn gate: provider calls in flight runtime-wide (default 8).

shutdown: Duration

How long a graceful close waits for a running turn (default 200 ms).

llm: Option<LlmOptions>

store: Option<Arc<dyn ConversationStore>>

The ONE runtime-wide store (conversation id = handle id). Default memory.

clock: Option<Arc<dyn Clock>>

hooks: Option<Hooks>

§8 hooks for every agent’s turns, forwarded verbatim.

on_metric: Option<OnMetricFn>

wait_for: Option<WaitForFn>

Runtime-level §10 interpreter, used when no agent on the chain has one.
