One resonant mode of a Node::Modal bank: a single damped sinusoidal partial. A struck object’s timbre is the set of these — their frequency ratios say “metal” vs “wood” vs “glass”, their decays say how it rings.

Modal frequency in Hz.

decay: f32

−60 dB ring time in seconds: how long this partial sustains after the strike. Higher modes usually decay faster than the fundamental.

gain: f32

Relative amplitude of this partial, 0..1.
