Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

ProtoDecode(DecodeError)

Proto FileDescriptorSet decoding failure.

MissingWrapperType

A nested path param (e.g., {user_id.value}) was found but RestCodegenConfig::wrapper_type is not configured.

UnsupportedBodySelector

Partial body selector (body is a field name, not "*").

Currently only body: "*" (whole message) is supported. Field-level body selectors like body: "user" require sub-message deserialization that is not yet implemented.
