pub enum ReferenceResolution {
Resolved,
Missing,
Ambiguous,
}Expand description
How one reference resolved against its registry (data-model §2).
Variants§
Resolved
The reference names a source entity the registry holds.
Missing
The reference names nothing the registry holds.
Ambiguous
The reference could name more than one source entity.
The closed vocabulary is data-model §2’s. Initiative references are keyed by a unique stable id (projects/epics) or a case-folded-unique milestone name, so this state is currently unreachable — it exists so a caller cannot mistake “unresolvable” for “resolves to nothing” if a future registry admits an ambiguous name.
