Variants

Pause

Suspend generation until an explicit resume.

Resume

Resume a paused series. Never inferred from a refresh.

End

End the series. Terminal for generation.

Skip

Record one occurrence date as skipped, so it is never generated.

Defer

Move the candidate on without recording the date as skipped.

Ignore

Stop offering one occurrence date: recorded, like skip, as a decision.
