A milestone as materialized from its registry file. description is the markdown body (the work summary); file_name is the registry filename ({created}-{slug}.md, contracts/milestone-file-format.md). created is the creation date (the filename prefix); target_date is the optional YYYY-MM-DD due date (empty string when absent).
