}Expand description
Errors that can occur during coverage sidecar operations.
These errors propagate from lower layers: layout validation, serialization, storage, and file I/O. Callers should inspect the variant to determine the nature of the failure and how to recover.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Layout
Layout validation error (e.g., invalid coverage ID or path).
Fields
§
source: CoverageLayoutErrorThe underlying layout error.
Codec
Coverage serialization or deserialization failed.
Fields
§
source: CoverageCodecErrorThe underlying coverage codec error.
EntityIdentitySchema
An entity identity does not match the table’s configured schema.
Fields
§
source: Box<SchemaCompatibilityError>Identity arity or scalar-type mismatch.
Storage
Storage I/O error (read, write, or metadata operations).
Fields
§
source: StorageErrorThe underlying storage error.
