Where a setting can be set. The more specific level wins: a call over a session over a table.

Variants

Create

Only when the table is created, through the table options (time_column, chunk, …).

Table

As a table property, at creation or later (timelake alter, Table::set_properties).

Session

For one SQL session: SET timelake.<name> = …, or --set on the CLI.

Call

For one call, through its options (AppendOptions, MaintainOptions).
