Options for creating a table. Only time_column is required for a time-series table; leave it unset for a plain (dimension) table such as device metadata.

Fields

time_column: Option<String>

The timestamp column; makes the table a time-series table.

series_key: Vec<String>

Columns that identify a series (e.g. device_id); requires a time column.

chunk: Option<Chunk>

Time partition size (default: Chunk::Day).

dedup: Option<bool>

Remove duplicate (series_key, time) rows during compaction (default: on with a series key).

retention: Option<Duration>

Drop partitions entirely older than this.

ingest_time: Option<bool>

Add an insertion-time column (_ingest_ts) to a time-series table (default: on).

properties: HashMap<String, String>

Extra Iceberg/Timelake table properties.
