Expand description

Errors that can occur when bridging between Rust types and Core Values.

Variants§

§

UnknownDataCon(DataConId)

The DataConId was not found in the DataConTable.

§

UnknownDataConName(String)

The DataConId was found, but it has an unexpected name.

§

ArityMismatch

The number of fields in a constructor does not match the expected arity.

Fields

§con: DataConId

The constructor identifier.

§expected: usize

The expected number of fields.

§got: usize

The actual number of fields received.

§

TypeMismatch

The value has an unexpected type (e.g., expected a Literal, got a Con).

Fields

§expected: String

A description of the expected type.

§got: String

A description of the actual type received.

§

UnsupportedType(String)

The type is not supported by the bridge.

§

InternalError(String)

Internal invariant violation (should never happen).

👎Deprecated since 1.42.0: use the Display impl or to_string()
1.0.0 · Source§

fn cause(&self) -> Option<&dyn Error>

👎Deprecated since 1.33.0: replaced by Error::source, which can support downcasting

impl PartialEq for BridgeError

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &BridgeError) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
