Expand description

Errors returned while manually producing a local block.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

DriverStopped

The block driver stopped before it could acknowledge the request.

§

OutcomeUnknown

Shutdown interrupted a request after scheduler work may have begun.

§

TimedOut

The scheduler did not complete a request before its deadline.

Fields

§timeout: Duration

Configured request deadline.

§

NoGenesis

The scheduler had no genesis block to build on.

§

SchedulerRpc

A scheduler RPC failed.

Fields

§op: &'static str

Scheduler operation that failed.

§source: RpcError

Underlying x23 RPC error.

§

ProposalOutcomeUnknown

Proposal RPC failed after the scheduler may have retained a candidate.

Fields

§source: RpcError

Failed proposal RPC.

§

SchedulerRejected

The scheduler rejected proposal or commit.

Fields

§op: &'static str

Scheduler operation that was rejected.

§result: String

Scheduler result value.

§

CommitRejected

The scheduler rejected commit and may still retain the proposed candidate.

Fields

§block_id: u64

Scheduler-local proposed block identifier.

§height: i64

Proposed block height.

§result: String

Scheduler commit result value.

§

UnexpectedTipResult

The scheduler returned an unexpected tip result.

Fields

§result: String

Debug representation of the unexpected result.

§

CommitOutcomeUnknown

Commit transport failed and the current tip did not confirm the proposal.

Fields

§block_id: u64

Scheduler-local proposed block identifier.

§height: i64

Nominated block height.

§source: RpcError

Failed commit RPC.

§reconciliation: String

Result of the best-effort tip reconciliation.

§

MalformedSchedulerProposal

The scheduler returned internally inconsistent proposal batch metadata.

Fields

§batch: &'static str

Proposal batch whose metadata was inconsistent.

§detail: String

Validation or range failure details.

§

ConsensusHashEncoding

A scheduler protocol value could not be encoded for consensus hashing.

Fields

§value: &'static str

Protocol value being hashed.

§source: WriteError

XDR encoding failure.
