pub enum PromptState {
Editable,
Submitted,
Streaming,
RunningTool,
Stopped,
Errored,
}Expand description
The user-facing prompt state, derived from RunState and the transcript.
This drives prompt-line styling (color, hint text) to show editable, submitted, streaming, stopped, errored.
Variants§
Editable
Idle — user can type and submit.
Submitted
Prompt submitted; waiting for the first agent event.
Streaming
Agent is actively streaming reasoning or assistant text.
RunningTool
Agent is executing a tool call.
Stopped
Run was cancelled; prompt is editable again.
Errored
Run failed with an error; prompt is editable again.
