Expand description

Errors returned by this library.

Conversion failures are not errors. They are recorded outcomes in the manifest. This type covers the cases where the pipeline itself cannot proceed.

Variants§

§

Io

A filesystem operation failed.

Fields

§op: &'static str

The operation that failed, such as open or read.

§path: PathBuf

The path the operation touched.

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

Rules

A rules file failed to parse or validate.

Fields

§name: String

The rules file name.

§message: String

What went wrong.

§

Manifest

A manifest shard failed to parse or validate.

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The shard path.

§line: usize

The one-based line number.

§message: String

What went wrong.

§

Encode

A manifest record could not be encoded.

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The shard path.

§message: String

What went wrong.

§

Division

A division name is not usable as a shard file name.

Fields

§name: String

The rejected name.

§

Layout

The run layout is invalid.

Fields

§message: String

What is wrong with the layout.

§

Refused

A bundle verb examined its input and refused it, naming every offender. Refusal is an outcome, distinct from a verb that could not run.

Fields

§verb: &'static str

The verb that refused.

§problems: Vec<String>

Every offending file, record, or field.
