Whether to insert a space between a command and the following structural token in math mode.

Spaced: \frac { a } — Minimal: \frac{ a }. Minimal only removes the command-to-structure boundary itself; it still preserves lexical separation when omitting a space would merge a following letter-like token into the control sequence name (e.g. \alpha x).
