Display strings for a StandardMenuRole, already localized by the widget layer. The platform layer never hardcodes user-visible menu text — it applies whatever the snapshot carries — so a standard menu honours the app’s locale (e.g. “Quitter” / “Masquer” on a French system) instead of leaking English literals onto the most visible native surface.

title: String

Submenu title (Window / Help; the App submenu typically uses the app name).

about: String

“About …” (App).

settings: String

“Settings…” / “Preferences…” (App). Only rendered when the snapshot also carries a settings_item — the platform has no default action for it, unlike About / Hide / Quit.

hide: String

“Hide …” (App).

quit: String

“Quit …” (App).

minimize: String

“Minimize” (Window).

zoom: String

“Zoom” (Window).
