Struct KeyInput

Source
pub struct KeyInput<'a> {
    pub physical_key: PhysicalKey,
    pub logical_key: &'a Key,
    pub location: KeyLocation,
    pub state: ElementState,
    pub repeat: bool,
    pub synthetic: bool,
}
Expand description

A key event as the reporter needs it: the fields of winit’s KeyEvent (which only winit can build) that say which key it was, plus the is_synthetic flag of the WindowEvent that carried it.

Fields§

§physical_key: PhysicalKey

The key’s place on the keyboard.

§logical_key: &'a Key

What the key means with the current layout and shift level.

§location: KeyLocation

Which of two keys of the same meaning it was: left or right, main block or keypad.

§state: ElementState

Pressed or released. A repeat is a press.

§repeat: bool

A press the keyboard repeated because the key is held.

§synthetic: bool

winit made this event up, for a key already held when focus changed.

Implementations§

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

Source§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
