ManualClock

Struct ManualClock

Source
pub struct ManualClock(/* private fields */);
Expand description

A clock the caller moves by hand. Never advances on its own.

What a headless test installs when it wants gesture deadlines to fire exactly when it says they do. Cell rather than a &mut API so it can be held behind the same Rc<dyn InputClock> as MonotonicClock.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ManualClock

Source

pub fn new(start: EventTime) -> Self

A clock reading start.

Source

pub fn set(&self, time: EventTime)

Jump to time.

Source

pub fn advance(&self, d: Duration)

Move forward by d. Saturates rather than overflowing.

impl Default for ManualClock

Source§

fn default() -> Self

Returns the “default value” for a type. Read more
Source§

impl InputClock for ManualClock

Source§

fn advance(&self, d: Duration)

The owner said to move, so it moves — this is exactly the inherent advance, reached through the trait so WidgetTree::advance_time can move any clock it happens to hold.

Source§

fn now(&self) -> EventTime

The current time on this tree’s input timeline.
Source§

fn epoch(&self) -> Option<Instant>

The real instant this clock’s EventTime::ZERO corresponds to, for a clock that has one. Read more
