A container of a value that can be represented as a TDS value.
Variants§
U8(Option<u8>)
8-bit integer, unsigned.
I16(Option<i16>)
16-bit integer, signed.
I32(Option<i32>)
32-bit integer, signed.
I64(Option<i64>)
64-bit integer, signed.
F32(Option<f32>)
32-bit floating point number.
F64(Option<f64>)
64-bit floating point number.
Bit(Option<bool>)
Boolean.
String(Option<Cow<'a, str>>)
A string value. Sent as nvarchar; every character column reads as
this.
VarChar(Option<Cow<'a, str>>)
A string value to send as varchar, in the session’s collation.
Use it for a parameter compared with a varchar column under a
SQL_* collation: an nvarchar parameter outranks the column there,
so the server converts every row and cannot seek the index. A
character the collation’s code page lacks is an error, and a value
over 8000 bytes goes as varchar(max).
Only sent, never read: a varchar column arrives as
String too.
Guid(Option<Uuid>)
A Guid (UUID) value.
Binary(Option<Cow<'a, [u8]>>)
Binary data.
Numeric(Option<Numeric>)
Numeric value (a decimal).
Xml(Option<Cow<'a, XmlData>>)
XML data.
DateTime(Option<DateTime>)
DateTime value.
SmallDateTime(Option<SmallDateTime>)
A small DateTime value.
Time(Option<Time>)
tds73 only.Time value.
Date(Option<Date>)
tds73 only.Date value.
DateTime2(Option<DateTime2>)
tds73 only.DateTime2 value.
DateTimeOffset(Option<DateTimeOffset>)
tds73 only.DateTime2 value with an offset.
