Stable error codes for machine-readable output. Consumers should branch on these codes, not on error prose.

MissingArgs

Required arguments were not provided.

DirtyWorktree

The working tree has uncommitted changes that block the operation.

CiFailing

Trunk CI is failing.

§

NotARepo

Not inside a git repository.

§

UnbornNoCommits

The branch has no commits yet.

BranchNotFound

The referenced branch was not found.

§

TagExists

The tag already exists.

§

NotOnMain

Not on the main/trunk branch.

CannotCompleteMain

Cannot complete the main branch.

A git command failed unexpectedly.
