PingTap

Struct PingTap

Source
pub struct PingTap {
    pub sent: Arc<AtomicBool>,
    pub connect_failed: Arc<AtomicBool>,
    pub status: Arc<AtomicU16>,
    pub usage: Arc<Mutex<KeepWarmUsage>>,
}
Expand description

Live view of an in-flight ping, shared with the actor so an ABORTED ping (a turn started, the session ended) can still be booked: sent flips once the request is dispatched (the HTTP client pulls the body over an established connection, or a response arrives — never for a refused connection), connect_failed when send() could not connect, status holds the last HTTP status (0 = none), and usage accumulates Usage events as they stream in.

Fields§

§sent: Arc<AtomicBool>§connect_failed: Arc<AtomicBool>§status: Arc<AtomicU16>§usage: Arc<Mutex<KeepWarmUsage>>

Implementations§

Source§

impl PingTap

Source

pub fn was_sent(&self) -> bool

Source

pub fn usage(&self) -> KeepWarmUsage

Source

pub fn bill(&self, model: &str, worst_usd: f64) -> PingBill

What this ping is booked at, by ping_booking, and its cost: measured usage, else worst_usd once dispatched, else nothing. EVERY path that ends a ping (done Ok / Err, abort, task panic) books through here.

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

Source§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

Source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
