Expand description

Deterministic failure-injection points inside the linked-successor transition (I2, CP-12 review). The enum is always available so rollback code can name the steps; the injection machinery is test-gated.

AfterSuccessorSave

Fail between the successor save and the parent update.

AtParentSave

Fail the parent forward-link save itself.

§

AtChainAdvance

Fail a named-chain advancement (the skip count selects which one).
