Enum Conformer

pub enum Conformer {
    TypeDescriptor(*const c_void),
    ObjCClass(*mut c_void),
}
Expand description

What a conformance record says its conforming type is.

The kind is a two-bit field at bit 3 of the conformance flags, and the four values are the four things a type reference can be. This crate needs two of them: a Swift struct minted at run time is named by its nominal descriptor, and an Objective-C class minted at run time has no nominal descriptor at all — its identity is the class object.

Variants§

§

TypeDescriptor(*const c_void)

A nominal type descriptor (…Mn): a struct, an enum, or a Swift class.

§

ObjCClass(*mut c_void)

An Objective-C class object, as objc_allocateClassPair returns.

The route by which a class conforms to a Swift protocol without there being a Swift class: Observation.Observable requires AnyObject, and an NSObject subclass is one.
