EnvironmentView

Struct EnvironmentView

Source
pub struct EnvironmentView<K: EnvKey> {
    pub metadata: *const c_void,
    pub witness_table: *const c_void,
    pub id: i64,
    /* private fields */
}
Expand description

A runtime-built Swift view type with a real @Environment.

  struct RustEnv: View {
      @Environment(\.colorScheme) var value
      var id: Int
      var body: some View { <built by a Rust closure> }
  }

The body receives whatever SwiftUI has in scope — so a view built this way follows the system appearance, or the nearest .environment(...), without Rust being told about the change.

Fields§

§metadata: *const c_void§witness_table: *const c_void§id: i64

Implementations§

Source§

impl<K: EnvKey> EnvironmentView<K>

Source

pub fn new(builder: impl Fn(K::Value) -> ViewHandle + Send + 'static) -> Self

Build the type and one instance.

Source

pub fn runs(&self) -> usize

How many times SwiftUI has evaluated the body.

Source

pub fn as_view(&self) -> ViewHandle

Wrap the instance so it can be hosted like any other view.

Trait Implementations§

impl<K: EnvKey> Drop for EnvironmentView<K>

Source§

fn drop(&mut self)

Executes the destructor for this type. Read more
Source§

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (pin_ergonomics)
Execute the destructor for this type, but different to Drop::drop, it requires self to be pinned. Read more
