pub struct FanOutTransition { /* private fields */ }swiftide-tasks only.Expand description
A typed fan-out transition builder that must be connected to a join before it can run.
Build one with Transition::fan_out and add additional branch targets with
FanOutTransition::and. Each branch input is type-checked before the branch target is erased
for runtime scheduling.
Fan-out always represents a joined branch group. True unjoined fan-out with multiple independent task endings is not supported; model that shape by sending each branch to a join node and finishing from the join node.
Implementations§
Source§impl FanOutTransition
impl FanOutTransition
Sourcepub fn and<T, Input>(
self,
node_id: &NodeId<T>,
context: Input,
) -> FanOutTransition
Available on crate feature swiftide-agents only.
pub fn and<T, Input>( self, node_id: &NodeId<T>, context: Input, ) -> FanOutTransition
swiftide-agents only.Adds another typed branch target to this fan-out.
The branch input must convert into the target node’s input type.
Sourcepub fn join_with<J>(self, join_target: J) -> Transitionwhere
J: JoinDestination,
Available on crate feature swiftide-agents only.
pub fn join_with<J>(self, join_target: J) -> Transitionwhere
J: JoinDestination,
swiftide-agents only.Attaches every branch from this fan-out to the provided join target.
This defines the branch group and the join node that waits for every branch in that group. Each branch still needs its own registered transition to the same join target when it is ready to contribute its output. If branches are conceptually terminal, register each branch to transition to this join target and finish from the join node.
Sourcepub fn concurrency_model(
self,
concurrency_model: ConcurrencyModel,
) -> FanOutTransition
Available on crate feature swiftide-agents only.
pub fn concurrency_model( self, concurrency_model: ConcurrencyModel, ) -> FanOutTransition
swiftide-agents only.Overrides the concurrency model for work scheduled by this fan-out.

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to
value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg():
use yansi::{Paint, Color};

are pithier.
§Example
Set background color to red using fg():

fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example

Enables the yansi Quirk value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask() and
wrap(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);Enable wrapping using wrap().
use yansi::Paint;

👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.

The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);Source§impl<T> Pipe for Twhere
