SseSink

Struct SseSink

Source
pub struct SseSink<'a> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A flushing sink that formats Server-Sent Events (text/event-stream). Each call emits one event frame and flushes — exactly what LLM token streaming wants.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'a> SseSink<'a>

Source

pub fn new(w: &'a mut dyn Write) -> SseSink<'a>

Source

pub fn data(&mut self, data: &str) -> Result<()>

Send a data: event (multi-line data is split across data: lines).

Source

pub fn event(&mut self, event: &str, data: &str) -> Result<()>

Send a named event.

Source

pub fn comment(&mut self, text: &str) -> Result<()>

Send a comment line (: ...) — useful as a keep-alive heartbeat.

Source

pub fn retry(&mut self, millis: u64) -> Result<()>

Suggest a client reconnection delay (ms).
