SELECT — projections over one or more sources, plus its modifier clauses.

Fields§

§only: bool

SELECT ... FROM ONLY ... — single-object result, not an array.

§value: bool

SELECT VALUE <expr>.

§projections: Vec<Projection>

The projection list (output columns).

§from: Vec<Spanned<Expr>>

FROM sources.

§omit: Vec<Spanned<Idiom>>

OMIT <fields> — fields excluded from the result.

§fetch: Vec<Spanned<Idiom>>

FETCH <fields> — record links to expand.

§split: Vec<Spanned<Idiom>>

SPLIT <fields> — array fields to fan out into separate rows.

§where_clause: Option<Spanned<Expr>>

WHERE <expr> filter.

§group: Option<GroupClause>

GROUP BY/GROUP ALL.

§order: Option<OrderClause>

ORDER BY.

§limit: Option<Spanned<Expr>>

LIMIT <expr>. Literal-ness is the analyzer’s judgment (LIMIT 5 vs LIMIT $n).

§start: Option<Spanned<Expr>>

START <expr> — result offset.

§explain: Option<ByteRange>

EXPLAIN — the clause’s span, when present.

§timeout: Option<Spanned<Expr>>

TIMEOUT <duration>.

§parallel: Option<ByteRange>

PARALLEL — the clause’s span, when present.
