pub struct ProjectLock { /* private fields */ }Expand description
A run’s hold on a project: its share of the store, and a copy of the project that is its alone for as long as it runs.
Each is a lock the operating system keeps. It gives one to one process and takes it back when that process ends, however it ends, so no run has to decide whether a lock it finds was left by one that died: twenty runs started together each try the first copy, and nineteen go on to the next. Beside each copy’s lock is a file naming who holds it, for messages and for the releases that wrote that file and locked nothing.

pub fn acquire( root: &Path, run_id: &str, started_at: &str, ) -> Result<Self, LifecycleError>
A run’s hold: a share of the store, and the first copy nobody has.
Sourcepub fn acquire_alone(
root: &Path,
run_id: &str,
started_at: &str,
) -> Result<Self, LifecycleError>
pub fn acquire_alone( root: &Path, run_id: &str, started_at: &str, ) -> Result<Self, LifecycleError>
The whole store, for cleaning. Refused while any run is active.
pub fn release(&mut self) -> Result<(), LifecycleError>
