A format stuffr recognises in order to refuse it, rather than to open it.

Exists because some files’ first bytes carry a magic stuffr DOES open: an Apple disk image (UDZO) begins with a zlib stream, so without this check stuffr ls listed it as zlib and every other verb took it for a zlib stream. Recognising the container from its own trailer is cheaper and truer than teaching zlib’s check to guess.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
