LinkAction

Enum LinkAction

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum LinkAction { Created(PathBuf), AlreadyPresent { path: PathBuf, text: PathBuf, }, Replaced(PathBuf), Removed(PathBuf), WouldCreate(PathBuf), WouldReplace(PathBuf), WouldRemove(PathBuf), Left(PathBuf, &'static str), }
Expand description

What install_links did, or with dry_run would do, to one link.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Created(PathBuf)

A new link was created.

§

AlreadyPresent

The link already points at this stuffr; nothing was changed. text is the link’s own text, which may differ from the target.

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The link.

§text: PathBuf

What read_link returned for it.

§

Replaced(PathBuf)

An existing entry was replaced: a stale stuffr link, or with --force a file or foreign link.

§

Removed(PathBuf)

One of stuffr’s links was removed (--remove).

§

WouldCreate(PathBuf)

Dry run: the link would be created.

§

WouldReplace(PathBuf)

Dry run: an existing entry would be replaced.

§

WouldRemove(PathBuf)

Dry run: the link would be removed.

§

Left(PathBuf, &'static str)

--remove left this entry alone, for the stated reason.
