JobRun

Struct JobRun

Source
pub struct JobRun { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A running job. See the module docs.

Implementations§

Source§

impl JobRun

Source

pub fn begin(observers: &WorkerObservers, job: CurrentJob) -> Self

List job as running and log its start inside its span.

Source

pub fn job_id(&self) -> &str

The job’s id.

Source

pub fn span(&self) -> &Span

The span to run the job’s work in; its events land in the job log.

Source

pub fn set_prompt(&mut self, prompt: &str)

Replace the job’s prompt preview, e.g. with a stream’s final text.

Source

pub fn keep_thumbnail(&self, result: &TaskResult)

Keep a thumbnail when result is an image. A thumbnail that cannot be made is logged in the job’s log; the job is unaffected.

Source

pub fn thumbnail_keeper(&self) -> ThumbnailKeeper

A Send handle that keeps this job’s thumbnail, for a blocking thread that holds the result.

Source

pub fn finish(self, outcome: JobOutcome) -> RecentJob

Log the job’s end, take it off the running list and record it in its ring (studio jobs in the recent ring, the rest in the local ring).

Trait Implementations§

Source§

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (pin_ergonomics)
Execute the destructor for this type, but different to Drop::drop, it requires self to be pinned. Read more

Source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
Source§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
