Where the WS session is in its lifecycle, surfaced to the UI so a
worker that can’t reach the studio shows why instead of sitting
silently. Terminal states (AuthFailed, Fatal) carry a
call-to-action the Worker page renders.
Variants§
WaitingForApproval
No credentials yet — waiting for the studio operator to approve.
Connecting
Opening / re-opening the socket.
Connected
Welcomed by the studio; claiming jobs.
Reconnecting
Lost the connection; backing off before the next attempt.
AuthFailed
Studio rejected our auth — the worker must be re-registered.
Fatal
A fatal server error ended the session.
Stopped
Clean shutdown.
