#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Verified {
Yes,
No,
Unsupported,
}Expand description
What a verifier says about one signature.
The third answer is the one that matters: an algorithm this build cannot verify is not a signature that passed. Collapsing it into a no would say the certificate is broken, and into a yes would say it is good; both are claims nobody made.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Yes
The signature is the issuer’s over these bytes.
No
The signature is not.
Unsupported
This build cannot answer: the algorithm, the key or the parameters are outside what it verifies.
