Enum Binding

Source
pub enum Binding<'a> {
    Direct,
    Attributes {
        digest: &'a [u8],
        digest_span: Span,
        protection: Option<Protection<'a>>,
    },
}
Expand description

Content bytes are signed directly or bound through original signed attributes.

Variants§

§

Direct

The signature input is the logical content (or parent signature) itself.

§

Attributes

Signed attributes bind the content digest; signature input is their original SET spelling.

Fields

§digest: &'a [u8]

Original expected digest octets; no algorithm is inferred from length.

§digest_span: Span

Original digest value’s source range for subsequent comparison failures.

§protection: Option<Protection<'a>>

Original algorithm protection, when present. Semantic comparison remains mandatory.
