Field value — variant shape depends on the field’s /FT. The emitter writes the corresponding PDF object kind for each variant.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Text(String)

Text string — used for /Tx and single-select /Ch fields.

Name(String)

Name — used for /Btn checkboxes (/Yes / /Off) and radio groups (the chosen kid’s appearance state).

TextArray(Vec<String>)

Array of text strings — used for multi-select /Ch fields.
