OpenAIClient

Struct OpenAIClient

Source
pub struct OpenAIClient { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Unified OpenAI client that supports both the Chat and Responses APIs.

The client internally manages two separate clients for the different API modes and delegates requests based on the configured default mode.

Implementations§

Source§

impl OpenAIClient

Source

pub fn with_mode(api_key: String, mode: OpenAIMode) -> Result<Self, ApiError>

Create a new OpenAI client with a specific mode.

Source

pub fn with_base_url_mode( api_key: String, base_url: Option<String>, mode: OpenAIMode, ) -> Result<Self, ApiError>

Create a new OpenAI client with a custom base URL and mode.

Source

pub fn with_directive( directive: OpenAiResponsesAuth, base_url: Option<String>, ) -> Result<Self, ApiError>
