TaskWait

Struct TaskWait

Source
pub struct TaskWait<'a, Input, Output> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Awaitable typed cross-task result wait.

Created by TaskContext::await_task. Awaiting polls the target task until it reaches a terminal state, decodes its typed output, and checkpoints that value in the parent workflow.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'a, Input, Output> TaskWait<'a, Input, Output>

Source

pub const fn timeout(self, timeout: Duration) -> Self

Limit how long this execution attempt polls for the target result.

Layout§

Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
