comparable: bool

False when the digest cannot be compared: scope/CF mismatch, unsupported algo, no snapshot scope, or the follower declined (busy). The leader falls back to a full transfer.

digest: Vec<u8>

16 bytes (xxh3-128, little-endian)

entry_count: u64

last_applied: u64

Responder’s last_applied at the moment the digest was computed. Lets a suspect rejoiner (unclean-shutdown quarantine) turn a mismatch into a PROOF of state-machine divergence: two replicas at the SAME applied index must hold identical state, so equal positions + unequal digests can only mean one side durably lost applied data.
