meta: Meta,

}Expand description
The verb of a HandlerStatement: OPEN, CLOSE, or a READ with its selector and
shared WHERE/LIMIT tail.
Variants§
Open
HANDLER <t> OPEN [ [AS] <alias> ] — open a handler on the table, optionally
aliased. as_keyword records whether the optional AS
was written (meaningful only when alias is Some), so the
two spellings round-trip.
Fields
Close
HANDLER <t> CLOSE — close an open handler on the table.
Read
HANDLER <t> READ <selector> [WHERE <expr>] [LIMIT …] — fetch rows through the
handler. The WHERE filter and LIMIT are shared across every read shape (see
selector); each is None when the source writes none.
Fields
§
selector: HandlerReadSelector<X>Which rows this read selects; see HandlerReadSelector.
