pub enum DescribeColumn {
Name {
name: Ident,
meta: Meta,
},
Wild {
pattern: Literal,
meta: Meta,
},
}Expand description
The optional trailing argument of a DescribeStatement: a single column name or a
LIKE-style wildcard pattern.
MySQL’s opt_describe_column is ident | text_string: a bare identifier names one
column (DESCRIBE t col), a string is a pattern the column list is filtered against
(DESCRIBE t 'a%'). A dotted name, a *, and a second argument are all MySQL syntax
errors, so only these two shapes are modelled.
Variants§
Name
A specific column name to describe.
Wild
A LIKE wildcard pattern selecting columns to describe.
