Represents the outcome of an update() operation.

Variants

Unknown

It is unknown whether a new key-value pair was inserted or the value associated with an existing key was updated.

This is the expected return value, if the hooks feature is not enabled.

Insert

Indicates that a new key-value pair was inserted.

Update

Indicates that the value associated with an existing key was updated.

Please note that Action::Update does not guarantee that the value associated with the key has actually changed – it is possible to “update” the associated value of a key to a new value that is equal to the previously associated value.
