Speaker

Enum Speaker

Source
pub enum Speaker {
    Person,
    City,
    Resident(Letter),
}
Expand description

Who said a steer’s text (crates/runtime/spec/Conversation.lean §8-47-2). The type, not a prefix in the text, says whether the User spoke.

Variants§

§

Person

The User, through the control surface. Production code builds it only in accounting::worker::desk; Speaker::from_recorded reads back the user line that entrance wrote.

§

City

The city’s own word to the run: a policy change, a sync wait that ran out.

§

Resident(Letter)

A resident, whose words land as a letter.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Speaker

Source

pub fn recorded(&self) -> String

The spelling steer_received.source records: user, city, or @<room> followed by run=, kind= and sender= where known.

Source

pub fn from_recorded(source: &str) -> Result<Speaker, AxError>

Reads Speaker::recorded back. A line written before the envelope carries only @<room>, and reads as a steer letter with no run and no sender state (collab D16).

§Errors

Refuses a source that is neither user, city nor @<room> with known attributes: the ledger line was not written by this city.
