}Expand description
Access to one Table’s storage, built from what the Tables API returns for storage access.
endpoint is the SPFS endpoint that signs an SPFS root’s requests; without one, the host’s own
SPFS endpoint signs them. The host configures allowed storage providers and endpoints; hosted
ScanDAL refuses local file roots and any storage endpoint but its own. A host that resolved a
binding requests it again before expiresAt, Unix seconds; without one, the binding lasts as
long as its credential. A host that reads provider roots reads a read-only binding’s
directRead at the provider instead of through SPFS.
Fields§
§credential: Option<StorageCredential>Contract field credential.
direct_read: Option<DirectRead>Contract field directRead.
endpoint: Option<String>Contract field endpoint.
expires_at: Option<SafeUnsignedLong>Contract field expiresAt.
root_alias: Option<String>Contract field rootAlias.
root_uri: StringContract field rootUri.
Implementations§
Source§impl StorageBinding
impl StorageBinding
Sourcepub fn resource(resource: Uuid) -> Self
pub fn resource(resource: Uuid) -> Self
A logical resource reference. A resolver-enabled host obtains its scoped storage.
Sourcepub fn new(root_uri: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn new(root_uri: impl Into<String>) -> Self
Storage for root_uri, with no alias or credential, as local files need.
Sourcepub fn remaining_lifetime(&self) -> Option<Duration>
pub fn remaining_lifetime(&self) -> Option<Duration>
How long the binding stays usable from now, until its expires_at, or zero once that
passed; None when it names no deadline.
Sourcepub fn credential(&self) -> Option<&str>
pub fn credential(&self) -> Option<&str>
The operation-scoped credential: the SPFS capability of an SPFS root, the JSON
S3Session of an s3:// root, or the JSON
GcsSession of a gs:// root; absent for local files.
Source§impl StorageBinding
impl StorageBinding
Sourcepub fn from_storage(
root: String,
binding: IssuedBinding,
) -> Result<Self, ScandalError>
pub fn from_storage( root: String, binding: IssuedBinding, ) -> Result<Self, ScandalError>
The scandal binding of root that storage’s binding authorizes, with its deadline: an
SPFS capability, signed at the binding’s endpoint and read directly at the provider when
a read-only binding carries a direct read, or a provider session vended for the binding’s
provider root. When root, the root that a Table’s object references name, differs from
the binding’s, it becomes the alias.
Sourcepub fn for_resource(binding: IssuedBinding) -> Result<Self, ScandalError>
pub fn for_resource(binding: IssuedBinding) -> Result<Self, ScandalError>
The scandal binding of a resource’s whole storage, which spiral:// addresses name
relative to its root.
