pub enum PromptStyle {
Anthropic,
OpenAi,
Chat,
Parts {
caches: bool,
},
}Expand description
Provider prompt dialects (same content, same stability order).
Variants§
Anthropic
Messages API: system blocks and content blocks with cache_control breakpoints.
OpenAi
Responses API: system → instructions (a string), input items;
prefix caching is automatic, so the order alone does the work.
Chat
Chat Completions (openai-compatible: Ollama, vLLM, llama.cpp, LM
Studio, …): the Anthropic layout without cache_control breakpoints,
which such servers do not know.
Parts
Bedrock’s Converse: the Anthropic layout, converted by to_parts
to agentplane’s shared text parts, whose cache marks become cache
points (caches: Claude models only).
