Provider prompt dialects (same content, same stability order).

Variants§

§

Anthropic

Messages API: system blocks and content blocks with cache_control breakpoints.

§

OpenAi

Responses API: system → instructions (a string), input items; prefix caching is automatic, so the order alone does the work.

§

Chat

Chat Completions (openai-compatible: Ollama, vLLM, llama.cpp, LM Studio, …): the Anthropic layout without cache_control breakpoints, which such servers do not know.
