Prompt-cache lifetime for breakpoints: agentplane’s, read as 5m or 1h (one hour survives a run paused for an approval). How long a provider keeps a cached prompt prefix.

Two tiers, because they are billed differently: Anthropic charges 1.25× the input rate to write the five-minute tier and 2× to write the one-hour tier, so which one a write went to is a fact about cost, and Pricing prices them separately.
