#[non_exhaustive]pub enum ExitState {
Completed,
Failed(FatalErrorReport),
}Expand description
Terminal state of a pipeline run.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Completed
Drained and committed cleanly: a requested shutdown (SIGTERM or
programmatic), or a bounded source reporting
SourceEvent::Drained after
exhausting its input. For the drained case this additionally
guarantees every batch was acknowledged and the final watermark
commit persisted (anything less exits Failed).
Failed(FatalErrorReport)
A fatal error stopped the pipeline; the process should exit non-zero.
